Soil varies a lot

A septic installer based in Antonia told the Jefferson County Leader in 2013 that the county has "some of the best and some of the worst soil in the whole nation." He said river-bottom soil is ideal for septic systems, while rock and clay make them hard (Leader, May 2013).
